Terms of service · subscription and use
These Terms form the agreement between you (the “Customer”) and Sinnet Cloud Data Co., Ltd. (“we”, “us”) in respect of subscription services for the aileo GEO platform (the “Platform”). Registering for the Platform, using it on trial, or using it on a paid basis means that you have read and agree to these Terms. Effective date: 2026-09-22.
1. Definitions
- Tenant: an independent contracting entity on the Platform, with its own plan, usage quotas, set of brands and set of accounts. Data is isolated between tenants and cannot be accessed across them.
- Brand: a business line or client entity within a tenant, and the unit to which content, monitoring samples and structured data belong. A tenant may have multiple brands.
- Seat: an account with “enabled” status within a tenant occupies one seat. Seats are a real-time stock metric; disabling or deleting an account releases the seat.
- Usage quota: the four metered limits set by the plan — content publication (items), GEO monitoring (runs), source API calls (calls) and seats (count). Quotas reset each calendar month; “unlimited” means no upper limit is set.
- Subscription cycle: one calendar month or one calendar year from the subscription effective date, renewed as agreed on expiry.
2. Service content and scope
During the subscription term, we provide the tenant with the following capabilities in accordance with the plan selected:
- Content review and publication: content draft management, multi-level review workflow, versions and rollback, scheduled publication;
- Direct GEO structured output: generating static pages with Schema.org structured data from published content, for generative engines to crawl and cite;
- AI visibility monitoring: sampling by “brand × AI platform × question”, recording whether the brand is mentioned, cited and correctly described in generated answers;
- Source publication API: providing the tenant with inbound `/api/v1` endpoints allowing third-party systems to submit and withdraw content;
- Organization and permissions: management of accounts, roles, permission points and scopes, supporting three scope levels — platform, tenant and brand;
- Usage and billing: real-time display of usage across the four dimensions, a usage ledger, and a billing-period reconciliation view.
The boundaries of what each plan can do are governed by the information currently shown on the “Pricing” page. The free trial plan provides full functionality during the trial period, and continues under the plan selected when the trial ends; if you do not wish to continue, you may cancel at any time.
3. Accounts, seats and tenant management
- At registration, a tenant creates one tenant administrator, and that account holds permissions within this tenant for tenant information, plan changes, and account and role management.
- Account credentials are kept by the Customer. Losses caused by leaked credentials are borne by the Customer; on discovering a leak you should immediately change the password within the Platform or contact us to force a sign-out.
- The number of seats is subject to the plan ceiling. If creating or enabling an account would exceed the ceiling, the system refuses the action and gives a notice rather than silently charging for the excess.
- Accounts, brands and content all belong to the tenant. Deleting a tenant is an irreversible operation and also deletes all of its brands, accounts, content, monitoring samples and usage ledgers.
- Where one natural person uses multiple accounts, or one account is shared by several people in order to circumvent seat metering, this is treated as exceeding the scope of authorization, and we are entitled to require remediation or to adjust the plan according to actual use.
4. Usage quotas and handling of overages
| Metered metric | Unit | When it is counted | Action on exceeding the limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Content publication | items | One count when content passes review and is published to the public site | Publication is refused and the response returns HTTP 402, with a prompt to upgrade the plan |
| GEO monitoring | runs | One count per sampling run by “brand × AI platform × question” | New sampling tasks are refused; completed samples remain available to view |
| Source API calls | runs | One count per call to the inbound publish, withdraw or statistics endpoint | The endpoint returns a quota-exhausted error code, and the caller must implement its own backoff and retry |
| Seats | seats | A real-time count of accounts with “enabled” status within the tenant | Creating or enabling new accounts is refused, without affecting the use of existing accounts |
Quotas are calculated by calendar month (the cycle identifier has the form 2026-09). They do not carry over between months. Platform administrators may set a quota override at tenant level (limit_override),
used for commercial exceptions or mapping Marketplace entitlements; the override value takes precedence over the plan default, and a value of -1 means unlimited. All quota changes are written to the audit log.
5. Fees, billing and renewal
- Pricing: governed by the amounts and currency currently shown on the “Pricing” page, denominated in renminbi (tax inclusive; the applicable tax rate is as stated on the invoice). Plans marked “by quotation” on the page are determined by commercial contract.
- Billing method: the Platform supports three purchasing routes — direct contracting on the Platform (manual invoicing), an AWS Marketplace subscription (metered and reported through Marketplace), and an enterprise framework agreement. The payment method is governed by the signed contract.
- Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically by default. After automatic renewal is switched off, the subscription becomes “expired” at the end of the cycle and the tenant enters “suspended” status; during suspension no write-type operations can be performed (publishing, monitoring, creating accounts) while read-only access is retained.
- Plan changes: upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect from the next subscription cycle. Fees already paid are not refunded on a pro-rata basis on a change, unless otherwise mandatorily required by law.
- Refunds: within 7 calendar days of the start of the first month's subscription, if a platform defect makes the service unavailable and we fail to repair it within a reasonable period, you may apply for a full refund of that cycle's fees; in all other circumstances no refund is given.
- Trial: the free trial requires no payment and no card. If no paid plan is selected when the trial period ends, the subscription terminates automatically and tenant data is handled in accordance with Clause 8.
6. Customer data and content
- Data ownership: the brand profiles, content drafts, monitoring samples and usage data that the Customer creates within the Platform all belong to the Customer. We process this data solely in order to provide the services.
- Scope of license: the Customer authorizes us to store, copy, process and display the above data to the extent necessary to provide the services, including generating static pages from published content and making them available to the public internet and to generative engines. This license ends when the services terminate.
- Content responsibility: the Customer warrants that the content it submits does not infringe any third party's copyright, trademark rights, rights of reputation or other lawful rights and interests, and does not violate laws or regulations. The Customer bears and is responsible for resolving any dispute arising from the content itself.
- No use for model training: we will not use the Customer's business content data to train any general-purpose large model, and will not sell or exchange it with third parties.
- Data handling details: for the scope of data collection, storage location, retention periods and data subject rights, see the “Privacy policy”.
7. Service levels and support
| Plan | Availability target | Response time | Support channels |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free trial | No SLA commitment | Within 3 business days | Tickets / email |
| Basic | 99.5% / month | 1 business day | Tickets / email |
| Professional | 99.9% / month | 4 hours (business hours) | Tickets / email / dedicated group chat |
| Flagship | 99.95% / month | 1 hour (24/7 emergency) | Dedicated customer success manager + telephone hotline |
Availability is measured monthly, calculated as “(total time − unavailable time) ÷ total time”. Planned maintenance windows (notified 48 hours in advance) do not count toward unavailable time; nor do outages caused by the Customer's own network, changes made by third-party AI platforms themselves, or force majeure.
8. Termination and disposal of data
- Termination by the Customer: a tenant administrator may cancel the subscription at any time under “Subscription & usage”; after cancellation the subscription status becomes “canceled”, the tenant enters “canceled” status, and all write-type operations stop.
- Data retention: after cancellation or expiry, account and business content data is retained for 30 days, during which you may contact us to export or restore it; after 30 days it enters the deletion process.
- Usage metering data: to satisfy reconciliation and tax compliance, usage ledgers are retained for two full accounting years and are aggregated and archived on expiry.
- Termination by us: where the Customer materially breaches these Terms (for example, using the Platform to publish unlawful content, attacking the Platform or another party's account, or registering accounts in bulk to circumvent billing), we are entitled to suspend or terminate the services after written notice, and fees already paid are not refunded.
9. Intellectual property
The Platform's software, interfaces, documentation, the CITE methodology, the monitoring models and the trademarks (including aileo and Sinnet Cloud SINNET CLOUD) belong to us or to the respective rights holders. These Terms grant the Customer only a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Platform during the subscription term and within the scope of its plan, and constitute no assignment of any intellectual property. The Customer must not reverse engineer or decompile the Platform, scrape platform data, circumvent access controls, or use it to build a competing product of the same kind.
10. Limitation of liability
- The AI visibility monitoring provided by the Platform consists of sampled observations, reflecting performance at a particular time, on a particular platform and for a particular query, and do not constitute any complete assurance as to how a brand will perform in any AI engine.
- Answers from generative engines are produced by third-party models and we cannot control their output. Monitoring data is for diagnostic and optimization reference and does not constitute a commitment to commercial results.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any single subscription cycle is capped at the fees the Customer has actually paid for that cycle.
- Neither party is liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of goodwill or loss of data, except where caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence.
11. Changes to these Terms
If these Terms change materially, we will give 15 days' advance notice through in-site notifications and email, and will update the effective date on this page. Continuing to use the Platform after a change takes effect is deemed acceptance of the new terms; if you do not accept them, you may cancel your subscription before they take effect and apply for the corresponding refund under Clause 5.
12. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding conflict-of-law rules). Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved by the parties through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, it shall be submitted to the competent People's Court in Changning District, Shanghai, for resolution by litigation.
